Precision routing at a whole new angle!
Make challenging projects like tilting-back saddle slots and cutting binding ledges on a F5 mandolin peghead a snap with the new StewMac Tilt Router base.
The Tilt Router Base is a pivoting, height adjustable, compact attachment for your Dremel and builds upon the success of our super popular Precision Router Base — and just like with the original you’ll soon be finding a million and one uses for it around the shop.
The best saddle-slotting setup: pair the Tilt Router Base with the Saddle Routing Jig and turn yourself into a pro saddle-slotter in seconds. Not only will it allow you to tilt the saddle slots, but compensated and split saddles are fast and simple too!
Sturdy, compact, and adjustable
Each turn of the large knurled thumbwheels adjusts your Dremel's cutting depth by .035" (.889mm). The base can tilt in either direction, simply loosen the pivot screws then lock them in place. Use the Angle Gauge during the setup and you'll know the exact degree you're setting.
Tall twin handles give you excellent control for freehand routing, and you get a good view of your work. There's even a built-in nozzle for attaching a mini air pump to continuously blow away the dust.
