This wooden-handled steel spatula has a versatile shape for removing a bridge, pickguard, or fingerboard extension from a flattop guitar.
- The tapered blade helps separate the glue seam.
- It's flexible, so it stays down while you hold the handle safely off the guitar top.
The 3-7/8" (98.43mm) blade tapers .045" to .010" from handle to tip (1.14mm to 0.25mm).
Useage Tip: Warm the glued area first, to help break the bond and protect the wood while using the tool. For repair situations when a hot knife is needed, use a hot plate (not included) to heat the blade.
