When you've spent countless hours making or repairing a guitar, don't settle for anything less than perfect! Many off the shelf pickguards have a look and feel that is inauthentic for your repair or build. We've finally found the right material that has the authentic pattern and look builders and repair techs have been asking for. And, this PVC plastic material is easy to cut to shape and work with!

Our Tortoise, Shell, and Tiger Stripe patterns were painstakingly modeled after vintage originals, so the look, pattern, and color has the exact style and match you're searching for. We have several patterns of Shell and Tortoise that look remarkably like protected (and outlawed) Hawksbill shell.

The tortoise and shell patterns are expertly printed on a translucent material in several shades and colors. You'll see the subtle grain pattern of the top through the pickguard, like you'll see on priceless vintage guitars.

The Black pickguard material is better than you expect—it has the right flexibility to make a custom shape, and resist warping when installed. The Pearloid has the shine, movement, and color for the perfect flashy look.

Versatile size and material
You can easily get two standard OM or Dreadnought pickguards from each blank—the material is big enough for any custom shape you can imagine.

They're simple to cut to shape with sharp scissors, and scrape and file easily. We chose the material to be easy to sand and polish to shape—you can effortlessly bevel or round the edges to the exact shape you need.

Use our Micro-Mesh Pads to add some scratches and wear to match a vintage guitar you are working on, or make a matte finish if that's what you want.

Self-adhesive! The top surface is high gloss, and the back is self-adhesive for easy installation. High-quality Dexerials adhesive backing forms a consistent bond to keep the edges down when installed. The top surface has protective plastic to keep it unscratched during fitting and installation.
